The Big Bear conducts an experiment as part of our first science unit on soils. The bear carefully observes what happens when sand mixes with water, and records observations using words, illustrations, diagrams, and labels. The bear receives lots of support and positive encouragement from its group mates, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration to reach a common goal.
Reading Workshop
We are currently in a unit on reading nonfiction. The Big Bear always remembers to use charts, Teaching Points, and other resources to help with its learning!
